Insurance & Payment Information. If you are seeking psychological services and your healthcare insurance provider is Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS; BCBS Fed), Cigna, Aetna, or Medicare (this list is periodically updated), a portion of your services could be covered by your insurance. Some of our clinical psychologists are "in-network" with many PPO plans, and "out-of-network" with limited other plans. Even within the same insurance provider, individual policies differ significantly from person to person. Make sure to contact your insurance provider regarding the details of your individual plan (e.g., copay amount; whether you owe an annual deductible; which psychological services your plan covers ) prior to your first appointment, and any time your insurance changes. 

 

Our hardworking administrative team processes monthly patient insurance claims for in-network services. We are not able to submit claims for out-of-network services. Patients are solely responsible for submitting their own out-of-network claims. Payment for all out-of-network visits is due in full at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and personal checks with a valid photo id. 

Insurance will not cover the following services: Mediation; Parenting Coordination; Parent Education Seminars; Custody Evaluations; Executive/Life Coaching; Court Preparation and Expert Testimony; Written Correspondence and Emails; Document Preparation; Educational Testing; (Non-Required) Psychological Testing; and any additional service for which insurance denies coverage.

 

No show and late cancellation policy. Patients/clients must make every effort to keep scheduled appointments. Failure to cancel an appointment more than 24-hours in advance shall result in being charged the full hourly rate (not the insurance-negotiated fee) for the missed session. There is an ongoing waitlist; this is out of courtesy for clients/patients waiting to be seen.

Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated. If you arrive early to your scheduled appointment, please make yourself comfortable in the waiting room. Intake forms may be downloaded and completed prior to your initial appointment. Please bring to your initial appointment your completed intake forms, your valid and active insurance card (if applicable), and a photo id.
